Day 1 - Quiver Tree Forest
We collect you from your accommodation and depart from Windhoek at 8.30am. We travel south passing through the “window to the south” and crossing the Tropic of Capricorn. We stop at Mariental for fresh supplies before having a roadside lunch. We arrive at Quiver Tree Forest late afternoon and pitch camp. Afternoon at leisure to explore forest and rock formations. Dinner prepared by guide with group assistance. Evening spent around camp fire.

Day 2 - Hobas, Fish River Canyon
Depart camp early with a short stop in Keetmanshoop for fresh supplies. Arrive at Ai Ais for lunch and a swim in the thermal hot springs pool. We then take a scenic drive through to Hobas and catch our first glimpse of the magnificent Fish River Canyon. We arrive late afteroon and pitch camp. This afternoon we drive to edge of Fish River Canyon and do some walks along the rim of the canyon. Sunset overlooking canyon before returning to camp. Dinner prepared by guide with group assistance. Evening around camp fire.

Day 3 - Klein Aus Mountains
Short stop on the Fish River for those who did not make it to the bottom before proceeding to Aus. Lunch is taken at the hide for the desert horses of the Namib and this afternoon you have time to explore the many hiking. Late afternoon your guide will lead you to the “saddle” for a breathtaking view of the Namib Desert at sunset. Dinner prepared by guide with group assistance. Overnight bungalow (multi-share) or camping.

Day 4 - Klein Aus Mountains
Depart Klein Aus for Luderitz day trip. We arrive at Kolmanskop for a guided tour of the ghost town in the desert dunes, and then explore Luderitz. After lunch we drive out to Diaz Point and look for the penguins on Halifax Island. We return to Klein Aus late afternoon and your guide prepares dinner over the camp fire with group assistance. Overnight camping or bungalow (multi-share).

Day 5 - Sesriem
Early departure for the drive to Sesreim where we have lunch and pitch camp. This afternoon we drive to Sossusvlei and explore this spectacular area and climb Dune 45 for sunset before returning to camp. Dinner prepared by guide with group assistance.

Day 6 - Swakopmund
Depart camp before sunrise and drive to Elim’s Dune to watch the sunrise over the Naukluft Mountains and the central Namib sand sea. We then visit Sesriem Canyon and return to camp for breakfast. We drive through the desert to Walvis Bay and visit the lagoon. This afternoon you have time for optional activities such as a scenic flight or quad biking. We arrive at our bungalow mid afternoon and our rooms are on a twin share basis. Dinner prepared by the guide with group assistance.

Day 7 - Windhoek
This morning you have free time to enjoy the many optional activities available such as sand boarding, quad biking, tandem parachuting or just explore the town. After lunch we drive back to Windhoek via the craft markets at Okahandja for those last minute gifts. We return to Windhoek where you can enjoy an after safari drink and share your memories of your safari.
